Our Cabinet Painting Process
Step 1: Masking and Preparation
We remove all doors and drawers. Floors, countertops, and appliances are masked off with paper and plastic.
Step 2: Degreasing and Cleaning
We use a nontoxic, biodegradable degreaser to remove every trace of grease, grime, and dirt.
Step 3: Sand, Repair, and Prime:
Every surface is machine and hand sanded to create a “profile” for the primer/paint. Wood fillers and caulking are applied to the seams and corners. All cabinetry, including doors, drawers, and box base, is primed with a specialty cabinet primer.
Step 4: Coats of Paint
All cabinetry is sprayed with 2-3 top coats of hard-drying urethane enamel.
Step 5: Reassembly & Inspection
Hardware is reinstalled to cabinetry and cabinet doors are drawers are installed to box base. We perform a final walkthrough with to ensure you are fully satisfied!
